  • What is it?
    • It is a learning platform. The EduBana platform is primarily designed to explain, re-enforce and consolidate school learning.
  • Who owns it?
    • The founder and owner of this learning platform is EduBana Ltd. It is a limited company registered in the United Kingdom. It is the brainchild of Mr. Dev Pareshar who himself is a tutor with over twenty years of experience teaching children.
  • What is distinctive about it?
    • It provides a comprehensive and robust learning tool. It is user-centred, interactive, and extremely timely.
  • Is EduBana platform suitable for use with tablets and smartphones?
    • The EduBana system is completely responsive. Therefore, it can be accessed over a laptop, desktop computers (PC), tablets and smartphones.
    • We would however recommend you use it on a laptop or PC because the user satisfaction is enhanced if the images and texts and bigger and easier to the eye.
  • There must be other learning platforms, so why EduBana?
    • EduBana is different in a few different ways:
    • This learning portal is designed by teachers/tutors and not technologists.
    • The core contents of the package are based around the UK curriculum and the contents are prepared by teachers who are in the profession within the United Kingdom.
    • The user interface is based around the user with a well thought out technology stack. It’s designed to be interactive so that student finds the learning process easy and stays engaged.
    • Unlike other popular platforms, its niche lies in teaching the complete UK curriculum for the age groups 6 – 16. Much like what’s taught in school except it is done in one’s own room.
    • In addition, it also provides other specific requirements such as 11+ preparations, GCSE preparations, course overviews etc.
    • Core subjects that the platform focuses on are English, Maths and Science.
    • Other subjects will be added as the demand and requirements, as set out by the UK curriculum, arises.
    • Both, parents and students can access the platform.
    • The subscription fee is carefully priced to deliver justifiable value for money.
    • Given the content, its multiple reuse and price, it is extremely good value.
  • What age group is EduBana services appropriate and suitable for?
    • The core content of EduBana services are appropriate for the age group 6 to 16 Years. This means children in primary and secondary schools, all the way up to GCSE’s.
  • What EduBana IS NOT?
    • It is NOT a substitute for a school. It cannot and neither is it designed to replace school learning.
    • Currently our pass certificates are not affiliated with any government supported program or educational authority.
  • How do I join?
    • The joining method is simple. You need to register first, then once registered; you can sign on to the platform.
    • Once registered you must subscribe to course(s) to have full access to the subject of your choice.
  • Can I re-join once I have left?
    • Yes, absolutely.
  • How do I join back after cancelling my subscription?
    • You can re-join by subscribing as if it’s your first time.
    • Note: All historic progress-data could be lost.
  • What do I do if I forget my login details?
    • Forgotten passwords or login details etc. can be retrieved through our online help mechanism.
  • What is the cost?
    • The guide price for the year 2021/2022 is £10 per subject per month (£10/subject/month).
  • Is there any cost to changing course(s) midway?
    • It depends. If you swap the course(s) within 14 days of subscription there is no charge.
    • However, if the swap exceeds 14 days, then there is a full month’s charge.
  • Can I play monthly, or does it have to be an annual (one time) payment?
    • There are two options: You can pay monthly or an annual onetime payment (12 months subscription). The choice is entirely yours.
  • Is it cheaper to make onetime payments, i.e. annual payments?
    • Yes, there is a slight discount on annual payments.
  • What is the method of payment?
    • The system currently takes all payment through PayPal and debit or credit card.
    • Payment methods may be extended to support other types in the future.
  • Is there a minimum and maximum limit to how many courses I can subscribe to?
    • The minimum course subscription is 1
    • The maximum course subscription is unlimited
  • How can I cancel my subscription?
    • Subscriptions can be cancelled by issuing an email notice.
  • Is there a minimum subscription length?
    • Yes, it is one month.
  • Is it possible to upgrade or downgrade packages?
    • Downgrading a package is not permitted nor allowed.
    • Upgrading or promoting a subscriber to next year’s level is allowed if 80% marks are secured in a subject (End of year exam)
  • What if I have subscribed to the wrong course. Can I switch to the correct one?
    • Yes, you can. It is completely possible to change courses midway.
  • Is there a discount on multiple subjects?
    • Yes, indeed there is. Currently we have a 25% discount on multiple subject subscriptions.
    • From time to time, we may introduce other innovative discounts.
    • Annual subscription discounts cannot be used alongside with multiple subject discounts.
  • Is there a discount on multiple subscriptions?
    • No, there isn’t. There is no discount on multiple subscriptions because we already offer discounts on multiple subjects. Subscribers will be however be informed should or when there is a discount.
  • Are there resources provided for the courses being offered?
    • Yes, they are. Furthermore, we are constantly looking to increase the number and variety of resources which can help both, parents and children.
  • Can the EduBana platform be used without an internet connection?
    • No, it cannot. The content (subscribed course) is streamed over the internet and so it is necessary to have an internet connection.
  • How safe is my data?
    • Your data is safe. We are completely GDPR compliant. Your contact data stays with us.
  • Where is my data kept?
    • Your data is kept with us in our servers.
  • As a parent, can I subscribe to the EduBana platform?
    • Yes. Only parents or guardians are expected and therefore allowed to subscribe to our services. In essence, THEY and NOT children, subscribe to EduBana services.
  • I wish to monitor or check progress: Can I do this; how would I do that?
    • Parents or guardians can access the data should they wish to check results, monitor attendance or progress
    • EduBana comes with a dashboard which provides a report on various things. The dashboard is unique to each registered user. This way every parent or guardian can check and monitor progress.
  • Are the questions provided on EduBana platform hard?
    • The content follows the syllabus as laid out by the United Kingdom curriculum. The resources (course material) are designed to enhance students’ ability hence the questions are of mixed nature.
  • Is there a course package for all subjects?
    • No. The platform package currently focuses on English, Maths and Sciences. Subscribers will be informed via their emails as and when we add new subject material.
  • Does EduBana keep track of how I am doing? i.e. My strengths and weaknesses?
    • Yes, it does. The platform maintains the test results as children work through their course materials.
  • How often should I be using EduBana?
    • There is absolutely no limit to how often you can use this. Once a subscription is purchased it is yours to use as many times as you wish. Of course, the more time you spend on it, the better and effective understanding you would develop.
  • What is the refund policy if I cancel my subscription?
    • Monthly subscription: if a given monthly subscription is cancelled after 14 days, then that month’s money will not be refunded. If, however, a subscription is cancelled before 14 days of the month, then the system will generate a complete refund.
    • Annual subscription: if the cancellation occurs after 14 days of the month, then that month’s money will not be refunded but the remaining months subscription will be. If, however, an annual subscription is cancelled before 14 days of a given month, then the total refund would be for all remaining months including the given month where a cancellation notice was issued.
  • If my child is absent from school, can they use EduBana as a replacement for the day?
    • The Edubana platform is not a substitute for school education. It is primarily a supplementary to formal school education. The course material, whilst subscribes to the UK curriculum, is primarily designed to explain, re-enforce and consolidate school learning.
  • How will you keep us informed of changes?
    • We aim to keep you informed via your emails and SMS message.
  • What is our obligation to EduBana?
    • Please ensure smooth regular payments. We need this to continue the service.
    • Please provide regular feedbacks. We need this to improve the service.
